As well as all the usual birds, we were graced this month with the first garden sighting of a Linnet. These birds are around in numbers on the undercliff at this time of year but, for some reason, do not seem to venture far inland.

Another nice sighting was of a pair of White Wagtails working their way across the lawn. Pied Wagtails are around on the undercliff for most of the year but the White Wagtails seem to pass through briefly in the Spring. These two were presumably fuelling up for their onward journey.

I at last got a half-decent picture of a Wren in the garden and we also had occasional visits of Sparrowhawk, Chiffchaff, Chaffinch and Goldfinch.
