In some ways, November was a fairly quiet month in the garden. The demand on the seed feeders has been much lower than of late, perhaps a sign of a late and fruitful Autumn.

The star visitors were without doubt the group of Longtailed Tits which came through early in the month. Usually, these hyperactive birds do a quick scan of the birch trees in the corner of the garden and move on before I can get a good view, let alone a photograph. This time though, they checked out the feeding station and tucked into both the fat balls and the peanuts before resuming their quest, with the result that I at last got some worthwhile pictures.
