I had known for some time that some of our 'crows' were in fact jackdaws, but it was only in October 2002 that I realised that some of them were Rooks!

The rooks are more numerous slightly inland or along the coast at Milford, where this smart specimen was feeding on the grass, in a mixed group of Rooks and Jackdaws.
