Welkin Diary - March 2009

Covering the wings themselves was straightfoward. The nacelles were trickier and the u/c doors just very fiddly.

With the cockpit section covered, it really now looks as if the top of a cylindrical fuselage was cut open with a can opener, and the slit just pulled apart sufficiently to fit the crew in. I suppose, in design terms, that is pretty much what happened.
