No doubt about the distinguishing feature of this large wader - that bill has to be seen to be believed! We have occasionally seen a Curlew fly by from Barton Cliff, but there are much better views to be had just along the coast.

The first bird pictured here was spotted at Lymington, using its bill to good effect to feed in relatively deep water.
