Having spent most of May flat on my back, it was a delight to resume my regular walks along the cliff.

The Wheatears were around in late May but now seem to have moved on. Both the Linnets and the Whitethroats though seem to have bred successfully and Sandmartin chicks have been seen peering out of one of the nestholes.

The Cormorants have also been prominent, sometimes perched on the breakwaters sometimes flying by, occasionally at quite a height.
