Mallards have occasionally been seen on the clifftop. The pair on the left were photographed at Lymington, those below at Hengistbury Head, but they can be found locally on almost any stretch of water, temporary or permanent. The pictures will enlarge.

Although these Mallards all seem to be pretty pure, Hybrid forms do occur.
