Sealand Diary - November 2006

FliteHook (http://www.flitehook.net/ ) are my preferred supplier of Balsa - every sheet is individually weighed. The first step was to get out the balsa stripper and attack a sheet of 3/16" (actually 5mm) medium balsa to produce some 5mm square strip for that fuselage framework.

Pulling the longerons together at the rear step area looked a bit improbable, but worked okay. Here you can see the steering tube for the tailwheel. The tube goes well up above the waterline, of course.

The keel pieces were added next, in preparation for sheeting the hull area.
